Kamran Mirza, MD is a Professor of Hematopathology,Director of Medical Education, at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.

Oscar Lopez-Nunez, MD is an Assistant Professor and Fellowship Program Director of Paediatric Pathology at the Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Terri E. Jones, MD is an Assistant Professor of Gynecological and Breast Pathology as well as Cytopathology at Magee Women’s Hospital, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA.

Meredith Herman is a PGY-1 resident at University of Michigan. She completed her D.O. from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and is a former Post-Sophomore Pathology Fellow at the University of Toledo Medical Center, and a recipient of the 2022 CAP Distinguished Medical Student Award. Meredith also serves as Vice-President of PathSIG.

Casey is a PGY-1 pathology resident at Beaumont Royal Oak in Royal Oak, Michigan. He has contributed numerous pages, articles, essays, and book chapters to multiple websites, including KevinMD, Doximity Op-Med, VisualDx, DermNet New Zealand, StatPearls, PathElective, Instapath, The Pathologist, and Pathology Outlines. Currently, he serves as an ambassador for Knowledge In Knowledge Out, or KiKo, where he promotes much of his medical and academic content. Social media has played a key role in his #path2path and his research interests include utilizing its different platforms to promote free, high-quality medical education globally.

Yasamin completed her medical school from Iran University of Medical sciences in Tehran, Iran and she is a PGY-1 pathology resident at University of Miami.

Mahalia is a 2nd year pathology (AP/CP) resident at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine that is dedicated to diversifying the field of medicine and educating her community. She received her BS in Biology at North Carolina A&T State University (2015) and later received both her MS in Biomedical Sciences (2018) and doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (2022) at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Chuan Chen, MD, PhD, is a PGY-1 AP/CP resident at Mayo Clinic. He completed his medical school at Southern Medical University in Guangzhou, China, followed by graduate and postdoctoral research at the University of Miami. Beyond his clinical and research pursuits, he also devotes his time to leading a virtual pathology interest group and supporting the progress of aspiring pathologists.

Adam is a third-year medical student at Rocky Vista University (RVU) in Southern Utah. He also was an anatomy teaching fellow at RVU and spent two years as a student member of the Commission on Osteopathic Colleges Accreditation (COCA). He is a recipient of the 2024 CAP Distinguished Medical Student Award.

Priya completed her medical school from Bangladesh. She did her PhD in integrative pathobiology from UCDavis Health.

Jenna Aungst is a second-year medical student at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and MPH candidate at Georgia State University. Currently, Jenna is the Vice President of Virtual PathSIG and serves on the Strategic Planning, Workforce Development, and Social Media Committees of the National Association of Medical Examiners.
